The Bauer Family

  I was the first one up this morning and got to work on my Blessing Message.  We got to church on time and then went and ate at Joe's Garage between Montrose and Clio.  Our first time to eat there.  Michelle had got me a Group On deal for Christmas.  It was really good.   We got home and Michelle and I took a little nap.   After our nap I got the fat bikes ready.  Michelle and I then took a short ride to the park.  It was Michelle's first time on the snow.   Michelle following my tracks. On top of Burt Mountain.   Michelle riding down Burt Mountain!   Michelle rode the Mongoose and I took the Green Machine.  It was a nice 2 mile ride.  Good for Michelle's first time his winter.  Hopefully we can get out again next Sunday. 

  Our New Year vacation ended when we went to work this morning.  It was a really nice vacation.  On New Year Day I had planned to do a ride to kick off the New Year.  Unfortunately I slept in and then the morning passed.  I decided to get on the trainer and watch the start of the MSU game.  It looked like they were going to get blown out.  Then things changed in the second half.  What great game and come back by MSU.  Michelle's family then came over and we watched more football and ate left overs from New Years Eve.  It was a very low key day.   On Friday I was able to get out for a nice 13 plus mile ride on the Green Machine.  It was a beautiful day.   I was on a false flat of the biggest climb of the day and seen this view.  So I snapped a couple pics with my phone.     On Saturday we started to do some housework and we woke up to some snow.  The roads were covered so I took t...

  Christmas flew by and we are into the new year already.  Was hoping to blog before today, but just to busy.  So today I will get caught up on the last week of activities.     We had our annual New Year Party last night.  It was smaller than in past years.  Michelle and I had started preparing on Tuesday night.  New Years Eve was busy with cleaning and cooking.  Michelle's mom came over and helped clean, not sure we could have done it all without her.  The Stange's had the flu and could not make it.  JJ had to work and got home around 10:30pm.  The Leach's made it out and so did Mark and Anne.  We had a lot of fun catching up from the year.  Hope to do a couple things over this year so we see everyone more.   My beautiful wife!
