The Bauer Family

As promised here is a picture of my new bike frame.  It is still in the build process.  The fork came in today and the last parts should arrive on Friday.  With any luck I will have it built up and a test ride will be done on Memorial Day. More posts to come on this later this week as the build progresses. 

I ordered a new bike last Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday via FedEx.  It was on the front porch when we got home from work. It's Here! So I brought it in the house, we had supper and did dishes.  After that I took it to the basement.  While in the basement Brendan played Wii and I went to work.  The box is open.  It is out of the box. The bike is in the stand. Since the last photo above almost all the parts have been taken off the frame with the exception of the crank.  Still trying to decide if I will change out the crank.  Next post will be of the frame only. 

Many things have happened since the last post so this is way over due.  Michelle's sister Dawn got married on Valentine's Day.  That was a long time coming.  Things are going well at Church and with our families.  The boys started soccer a couple weeks ago and are off to a good start.  We had some heavy storms late this week so JJ's game got postponed and Thursday nights game had been put into delay.  We decided shortly after the delay that it was not safe to continue and called the game off.  We are currently at Splash Village in Frankenmuth for the weekend.  A needed mini vacation.  Playing pool at Backwoods  Mom and Koko  Dad and Brendan  The two of us celebrated our anniversary in Frankenmuth  Roasting Marshmallows at Dawn's  Anniversay at Zehnder's  Anniversary at Zehnder's  Coloring Easter eggs  Mom, Brendan and Michelle Easter egg hunt ...
